You know, besides the fact that it only rains here (smh), it's Christmas, so no ones allowed to be sad. :)
Life keeps getting better, and there are more and more miracles everyday. So it must just be the best holiday month ever!
Started the week off with a banger day. Had district council and gave a training about why seeking the guidance of the holy ghost is so important. We had a big lesson/dinner/idon' tevenknowwhattocallit tonight, so we decided to fast. Got on the skytrain to head downtown to do some studdies and prep. I sat next to this guy who apparently was really struggling. I did the whole missionary shpeel, and invited him to church. He asked me to pray for him and will hopefully be coming to church. Super cool miracle. Then later in the evening we saw a guy with a basketball, so we went and talked to him and hes pulling up to basketball this week. Really cool miracles, and very spirit led. Especially after giving the training. Missionary work only can be done with the spirit. Then that night we had an FHE dinner with the Hunts (senior missionary couple) and Stella and her family. Her husband made it to vancouver and we were hoping to get them ready to be baptized while he was here. The evening went super well, (and the food was delicious). Unfortuanetly as of right now, it won't happen. But we hope to get them baptized very soon.
So uhh apparently Canada is lame. NoAamerican Thanksgiving. Like bruh. Why not celebrate it. Obviously. But talked with a friend today, who turns out to have a cousin that's one of the most wanted gang members in India. So that's pretty dope. He said if you ever need help or money hit him up. Now you all know the reason why I will have a corvette when I get home ;). But super good day, Got to talk with the fam, and they were somehow and both sides of the family granparents that day. So I somehow got to talk with all the cuzzos and g's. Somehow it was super fun. I guess I'm just super lucky. Love em all. Shoutout to Bairds and Clarks.

Friday, was on exchanges with Elder Henderson. Who's uncle is Mark Robber. Pretty lit. Talked to a random chinese dude for 30 minutes. Pretty lit. Then do you know whats Pretty and Lit. Lafarge Lake. That night we had a YSA activity and walked around the lake with all the Christmas Lights. It was soooooo blessed. Ohh, and did I mention, pretty lit. Then after we went to a memebers house, watched Home Alone and had a party.
Hung out with Colin on Saturday, Such a homie. Bought a couple things for black Friday. Kinda splurged. But you know, who cares. money is money, it'll come back eventually. Ohh and guess what, had a memebr meal, and they made us an American Thanksgiving!!! It was, how should I say, epic? I'm so grateful for it, cool miracle for me. I love mashed potatoes. Also super cool family and super cute kids. Later that night I proceeded to bargin with this dude and ended up getting 60$ worth of soda for $10. Sooooooo, I guess I'm just that guy.
Sunday was goated as usual. That night we also had another member meal with another epic family. They had four kids, and holy was it awesome. I've love that I'm an 18 kid who gets to hangout with all these adults, and just have so much fun. I love being a missionary!
3 months down
Had mega breakfast yesterday. It was for our "ESL district" which is pretty much a zones worth of missionaries. But the Stancliffs are goated and made us all breaky. It was so blessed. Helped a new memebr into their new home. Lowkey, I love manual labor. It's so fun. Had interviews with the goat himself P. Viny! Then had Christmas Kareoke for F.H.E. Ball game. So goated. Christmas is the best.
Today was also pretty epic. Cleaned, shopped, went up a really tal tower, then had a banger institute.
God is Good
For the past few weeks that I've been here I haen't been able to meet him. But today the man himself, Brother Ridge, was here. Hes the institue teaceher, and I've heard so much about him. And I finally unterstand the hype. The lesson was so spiritual and so good, and yet so simple. He had us fill in the blank. I wrote "I need God and Christ in my life because I need help." You might be thinking, but you're a missionary. And i'd say to you, I probably need their help the most
. That's why we need them though. We all need help. Because A. we are a fallen people and we need that help to get back to them. and B. it's the way of life. Life's gonna be good, it's gonna be bad. So ask for help.

So ask for help. After I wrote that, he then goes on to read my mind and say - "the two hardest things about being a parent is 1st when they don't listen. and 2nd, when they don't let you help them. A parents job is to help their children. That's all they care about. And me, as the rebelious child that I was, sometimes didn't accept that help. Which probably really sucked for them. But I'm eternally grateful for having the best parents and all the help they have given me. But God and Jesus Christ are the same. They're whole purpose is to help. Help us suceed, help us to find joy, help us come home. So let them help you. It probably makes them so sad when we don't accept their help. So Let Them Help. Because it's the best help you'll ever get.
Shoutout Cougs. I've got faith. This is our year!
Also shoutout to the greatest mom ever for getting the Christmas decorations. I'm so locked for the season.
Shoutout to Jesus. He's the awesomest
