God is good
Mission is good
Life is good
Can't ask for much more

This week has been pretty epic though, that's pho sho!
Last Wednesday, we met with Rebecca and her husband. And an "English class" which lowkey just turned into all of us yapping for 2 hours. Pretty lit. Then hit up a final White Rock missionary dinner, this time with an extra set of missionaries. So it was pretty flippin' awesome. Also got to jam out on the grand p. So that was a blessing. There ain't nothing better than a good sounding piano.
Thursday me and Elder On locked in on Food Hampers. Because it was transfer day, none of the other missionaries were able to pull up, so we were there for a long time, but it's good and fun work. Love getting to help make people's days better. Then we waited for the transfer bus to pull up, and we were able to talk to a lot of the missionaries here. So many goated peeps. Had another epic English class. And got fed two meals.
Friday was crazy. Started off normal. Hit up the meet and greet at the library. But, because it was raining, and Chinese people dislike the rain, there were none there. But nevertheless we are commanded to talk to everyone. So that's what we did. There was a 1000 piece puzzle chilling that was about 80% done, so we hopped on that. While we did it, we talked it up with a lady. An hour later she was out of there. Then started talking to another lady, who just moved from Arizona. Apparently she is a LA, but has had a really bad rep with the church cus of some previous husband relationships. She's super awesome though, and it was cool talking to her. 4 hours and a completed puzzle later, we went home for lunch. That's where disaster struck...
We were given food from a member, and it was super boujee. Lobster and a 6 course meal. So I was making leftovers. Putting the food on my plate to reheat it. As one does. But my darn coat, and because of the tiny kitechen we have, I knocked the plate over and that thing literally exploded. I've never seen something shatter into more pieces Then I had to throw a bunch of it away cus there were glass shards in it. But that's not all. We then left to a lesson, and when we showed up, bro had got up and walked out of the house 5 minutes before we came. Like the family didn't even know. Finally, the APs called us and was like yo, we here to pick up Elder On. It was tragic, the transfer was supposed to happen Saturday, but stuff happened. So Elder On just disappeared, never to be seen again...
Enter Elder Fankhauser
He's the goat. So it's chill.
Saturday...top 5 day of the mish. Hit up Costco with the quad. Lemme tell ya, going to Costco when you've got lots of money, and it's not technically yours, is super dangerous. Especially when I'm the one doing it :)
But then.... The Party

It was epic. It was so much fun. We were expecting about 100 people. We had like 150. We had so many friends pull up, and there was enough food!!! Lowkey was worried, but the Lord provided. It was also such a miracle. The gift of tongues is so true. My Chinese was on locks for the entire night. I've never felt more confident, and it was so cool to see all the things I've heard and learned just be used. God was blessing me frfr. Locked in on the lion dance. 4 white boys doing it, gotta love it. We even got invited to other Chinese new year party to perform there. So it's pretty lit.
It truly was a #blessed evening, and one to remember.
February 2026 unlocked. Church was amazing as always. Also got to teach second hour gospel principles. It went as far off planned as possible. But a great lesson none-the-less. Elder Fanky did a bap interview up in Burnaby. And it was so fun to see all the Burnaby member I met in my first transfer. Then had an amazing member meal, and they invited the English elder's friend, Aubrey, who's the goat. Me and Elder On found her, and she's so awesome. And the memebers have basically adopted her, so that's even more epic.
Yesterday had a goated English class. And a random lady pulled up who saw it on facebook. And I basically told her our whole purpose about missionaries, and a bunch of other principles about our church. It was such a cool miracle. Elder Fankhausers is also an insane cook, so we've been fine dinning here in White Rock. Then pulled up to a Chinese chess/checker activity. 2 white boys walking in speaking Chinese. Let's just say they were a little confused, but quite impressed,
Then today, 18 holes this morning. I'm getting pretty cracked at golf. Def didn't expect this talent to emerge on the mission, but it's been really fun. Then played basketball and pickleball the rest of the day. As well as some evening Pros.
Goated week as you can see
Jesus be dropping banger bars fr
Mark 5:36
"Be not afraid, only Believe"
Don't really need to expound or talk about it that much.
That right there is an eternal teaching. An lifelong truth. The key to never ending happiness.
How many times do we let life's problems or challenges become the main focus of our lives. How many times do the small thing become the biggest problems. How often are we scared.
I know in my life, I've done it all. And I'm an 18-year-old kid who honestly doesn't know what he's doing.
But living by this principle has brought me emense joy.
"Be not afraid, only Believe"
Jesus created this earth. He is our mediator. He knows everything. So if He's telling us not to be afraid, then that's something I'm gonna do. There's a lot of life I have no control over. But believing is something I can do. So that's what I choose to do. And when I believe, I don't ever have to worry. Just joy
So believe
Be not afraid
Because Jesus is King
Love ya'll
